Celebrating Bea's 3rd Birthday!

Beatrice had an amazing 3rd birthday on Orcas Island. Here are pictures of our adventures, which include ferry landing mayhem (Lillian is, ahem, a bit young to drive), birthday morning tea on the beach, a special birthday mani/pedi from Mommy, flying a kite, and of course, chocolate cake. It was a perfect weekend.

Anonymous gift for Bea & Lily

Thanks to the Bea & Lily fan out there who sent the wonderful books. There was no packing slip, so we don't know who you are!

Lillian is 6 weeks old

Lillian is a perfectly healthy 6 week old! At her doctor's check-up today, I gleefully responded "absolutely none" when he asked if I had any concerns about her health. She is (currently) sleeping well, going from about 10-3 each night and nursing well. We've both finally gotten the hang of it and (most of the time) it is actually quite relaxing to nurse. She smiled for the first time a over the weekend and I can't wait until we see more of her face all lit up :) Her stats are as follows:
Weight: 9.8 lbs
Height: 21.5 inches
Both are about the 35th percentile, so she still qualifies as a nugget.
