Lily is 4 months old!

Our cheeky monkey is 4 months old! Here are her current happenings:
-She sleeps from 9-5, nurses, and then happily conks out again on top of Daddy
-She thinks playing in her bumbo and exersaucer is fun for about 15 minutes
-She smiles all the time (especially at big sis Bea)
-When she laughs, it sounds like she is gasping for air
-She rolls from front to back and just today rolled from back to front!
-She probably drools about two gallons a day
-She is starting to reach for things with two hands and especially loves grabbing mommy's hair and trying to eat it
-When she gets really excited, she sounds like a screaming cat
In short, Lillian brings us endless joy.

"Average" never sounded so good

Lily went in for her check-up yesterday and is measuring 50% across the board- weight 12.9lbs, height 23.5inches, head 40cm. I almost cried. Damn it feels good to be average! She is laughing, sleeping through the night, and generally being totally squeezable.

The government's closings are in good hands....

Lillian is 3 months old!

Our beautiful Lily is 3 months old today! I can't believe how fast these first days have gone by - in some ways, that's a good thing. Other times I hold Lily tight and wish that she would stay a baby, snuggly and small. She's a gem.
