This and that

Evening all,

Finally, a family photo and we're all looking at the camera! So, I just finished putting together a brief testimonial I'm giving at a luncheon this week. The luncheon benefits the parent organization I'm a part of. It was surprisingly emotional to tell Bea's story. Nine + months later and I'm still shaken by the thought of her harrowing start.

Anyhow, I thought it was time to give a little update:
  • Bea is one week of shy being 10 months old (we're going by her real age now)
  • Current weight is about 18 pounds and she is lengthening out quite a bit as well
  • She has TWO teeth!
  • We took her first blackmail picture (aka naked bathtub pic with a boy)
  • She is almost-almost-almost crawling
  • The crib is more like jungle gym time than sleepy time now
  • We say "Ga-ga-ga-ga-ga" and squeal at a pitch so high the cats wince
  • Bea WAVES, but mostly just at herself or the floor
All very exciting (and exhausting) developments. I'll include a few more pictures below.

Bea and her friend Jasper. They hate us for this someday.

Hmmm, tasty.

Swings!

Family Picinic

Hi everyone,
We had our first family picnic of the season last weekend! Many of you know that Ian and I take our picnicking very seriously, so it was fun to introduce Bea to the tradition. She had a great time checking out the kids, dogs, and bugs, but pretty much missed the vista.
Happy Passover and Easter to all!

Spider Hand

Enjoy the video! So, Bea is 9 months old (as of 4/2) and had her well check-up on Friday. Her doctor has officially declared her health concerns over! He said we no longer need to worry about her getting more sick than normal babies. She is free to get her hands dirty! Here are the official deets:
Weight: 17lbs 9oz (25% on 9 month chart)
Length: 25.75 in (3-10% on 9 month chart)
Head: 43.6 cm (25% on 9 month chart)
In short, we've got a little marshmallow on our hands.

We're off for a family walk to grab the limited sunshine.
