Carousel Ride!

Bea had her first carousel ride at the zoo on Saturday. By the end of the ride, she was almost convinced it was ok. In Bea fashion, we had to try out different horses while whipping around, which of course made me totally dizzy. Since when does a merry-go-round make people motion sick?? I'm getting old.
Here is the sweet girl at the park yesterday playing 'chase' with Daddy. It isn't so a game of chase as it is just running aimlessly. She's loves it either way.

Birthday girl parties on...

The birthday celebration continued at Grandpa & Wendy's last night. Bea got an OCTOPUS cake, a zippy trike + helmet, and an "I'm Awesome" t-shirt (which she demanded on changing into immediately). Maybe I missed it - is "understanding the value of cake, presents, and parties" a developmental milestone for turning 2?
