Team Bea fans,
As you can see from the above pictures, Bea took her first bath today. (We were getting a little, uh, crusty.) Exhausting, yet rewarding. Although the pictures capture a squirmy, screamy little Bea, she seemed to enjoy the experience overall and was, generally, quite calm. After the bath, Bea was wrapped up like a burrito, had a little dinner, and went back to sleep. Not a bad evening.

I have to comment on the first bath, as it brings back lots of memories from 1986. When we gave our firstborn her first bath, she of course pooped in the little tub! Bath time has always been fun, and I am so glad you were able to participate in that. Sounds like Bea is moving along nicely. Wish I could be there to offer some help, or at least coffee and donuts - or fresh veggies and low-fat dip! Thanks again for sharing all of your news with us.

omg, is it wrong to crack up when babies start screaming? they are just So Cute when they are miserable! poor thing. i love the visual aids. you guys continue to be amazing.
also, i can't wait until bea looks like a miniature long-time smoker with her ventilator thingie.
and i like how she was sleeping with her arm thrown over her head ... "no, paparazzi, please, i must rest!"
